Bio

A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Dru Kuck joined the Blue Dragon Volleyball coaching staff on February 1, 2025.

Kuck joins the Blue Dragons after serving one season as the assistant coach at Colby Community College. Kuck helped lead the 2024 Trojan volleyball team to a 29-5 record and a third-place finish at the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championships.

Kuck also served as an assistant coach with the Ilini Elite Volleyball Club 16s for the 2023-24 season.

As a player, Kuck played at three NCAA Division I programs at Kansas State, Alabama and Bradley.

At Kansas State in 2019 and 2020, Kuck played 36 matches with the Wildcats. She led the team in digs with 326 (3.66 digs per set) as a freshman, amassing 10 or more digs in 16 matches. She posted a career-high 36 digs against Oklahoma on Oct. 16, 2019 and earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Playing at Alabama in 2021 and 2022, Kuck played in 39 matches. She had 452 career digs. She was named the Marshall Invitational MVP in 2021 and to the Crimson Tide Invitational All-Tournament team in 2021. Kuck was a two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Week in 2021.

Utilizing her fifth year of COVID eligibility, Kuck played her last season at Bradley University. She had 459 digs as the Braves’ libero, averaging 4.59 digs per set. She had a Bradley high 33 digs against Belmont University and had 12 matches of 20 or more digs in 2023.

A 2019 graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Kuck was a four-year letterwinner, a three-time all-state selection, including being named second-team all-state her junior and senior seasons. Her 694 digs as a senior set a single-season program record and was fourth highest in the state of Wisconsin in 2019. She was listed as the No. 2 recruit in Wisconsin for the class of 2019, according to PrepDig.com

Kuck received her degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice and sociology at the University of Alabama in 2023. She earned her master’s degree in management from Bradley University in 2024.

Kuck’s parents, Chad and Stacie Kuck, both coach for the Milwaukee Sting volleyball club. She has two siblings, Sean Kuck and Kyle Kuck.
