The Hutchinson Community College men's basketball team completes the first time through the Jayhawk Conference schedule as the Blue Dragons are on the road Saturday at Dodge City.
The Blue Dragons (12-5, 8-3 KJCCC) and the Conquistadors (6-11, 3-8 KJCCC) will tip off at 3 p.m. Saturday at the DC3 Student Events Center in Dodge City.

Saturday's game will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and on sister stations KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5) beginning at 2:45 p.m. with Sean Boston (play-by-play) and Daren Dunn (analyst) calling the action. The game will be streamed live and free on the Blue Dragon Sports Network beginning at 2:45 p.m.
The Blue Dragons currently have the longest-current winning streak in the Jayhawk Conference this season of six games after Hutchinson defeated Seward County 67-50 on Wednesday at the Sports Arena.
The Dragons allowed a 2024-25 opponent-low 50 points and just 21 points in the second half to the Saints, who shot 37.5 percent from the floor, just 24.1 shooting in the second half.
The last win streak of at least seven games for the Blue Dragons came just last season from January 20 to February 17,
Sophomore guard D.J. Dudley became the fourth different Blue Dragon player to lead the team in scoring in as many games with a 25-point, nine-rebound, five-assist performance. The Blue Dragons shot better than 50 percent for a second-straight game shooting 54.3 percent overall. The Dragons also tied a season low with seven turnovers.
Dodge City dropped an 80-67 decision to No. 12 Coffeyville on the road on Wednesday night. The Conquistador had a tough first half, falling behind 51-26 at halftime, but outscored Coffeyville 41-29 in the second half. Derrick Rivers hit 5 of 9 from 3-point game to finish with a team-high 17 points. Jamari Gamble came off the bench to score 14 and Keshawn Brown Jr. had 12 points.
The Blue Dragons and Conquistadors meet for the 195th time in a series that began in 1935. The Dragons lead the overall series 126-68 and are 54-33 in games played in Dodge City. The 126 wins are the fourth-most by Hutchinson against a single opponent.
Hutchinson won both games last season.
