Hudson Polk - Blue Dragon Baseball

Bio

Hudson Polk joins the Blue Dragon Baseball coaching staff as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator for the 2027 season.

The Dallas, Texas, native has spent the last two seasons at NCAA Baseball power Arkansas as an Offensive Analyst. Over those two seasons, the Razorbacks achieved a 91-37 overall record, won the 2025 NCAA Regional Tournament and Super-Regional to earn a berth at the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

While at Arkansas, Polk helped develop Wehiwa Aloy, who was the 2025 Golden Spikes Awards winner. Then in 2026, the Razorbacks had their highest stolen base efficiency in Arkansas baseball history of 87 percent. In both seasons with Polk on staff, the Razorbacks had more than 100 home runs and 200 extra-base hits in each season.

Polk completed his collegiate baseball career at Arkansas, playing for two seasons under head coach Dave VanHorn. As a catcher, Polk helped the Razorbacks to back-to-back SEC Western Division titles. He hit three homers in 35 games played. Additionally, Polk was a two-time SEC Academic honor poll selection at Arkansas.

Polk transferred to Arkansas after playing for two seasons for Skip Johnson at the University of Oklahoma. The 2022 Sooners were the Big 12 Tournament championship. They rode that wave through the NCAA Tournament and Super-Regional to a spot in Omaha. The 2022 Sooners were the NCAA Baseball national runner-up.

Polk earned his Bachelor’s in Communications from Arkansas in 2024 and further earned a master’s in Operations Management from Arkansas.
