ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Sophomore Sheila Too continued her consistent ways on Saturday and was the top runner for the Hutchinson Community College women's cross country team at the NJCAA Division I Championships at the University of New Mexico's North Course.

Too finished 50th overall to lead the Blue Dragons to a 20th-place showing. The Blue Dragons were the fifth-best Jayhawk Conference team on Saturday. Hutchinson had 541 points. Cowley was the top team from the KJCCC, placing ninth. Iowa Central dominated the team race, winning the women's national title with 60 points. New Mexico Junior College was the runner-up with 94 points.

Too ran a time of 20:02 in the altitude of Albuquerque on Saturday. She was Hutchinson's top finisher in each race this season.

Sophomore Gabby Collins finished 94th with a time of 21:01. Sophomore Christina Bruce was 114th in a time of 21:17.

Freshman Megan Miller was 141st in a time of 21:43. Brooklyn Terstriep placed 217th with a time of 23:32. Natalie Schroeder placed 235th with a time of 23:57.

Hutchinson finished in the NJCAA Top 20 for the 19th time in team history.
