HutchCC Sports Information

The Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team dropped two spots to No. 18 in this week's NJCAA Division I National Rankings.

The Blue Dragons were 1-0-1 in last week's ranking period. Hutchinson tied at Barton 1-1 last Wednesday and defeated Pratt 4-0 on Friday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.

The Blue Dragons – 11-0-1 overall, 6-0-1 Jayhawk West, 8-0-1 Region VI – are still one of 11 teams in the Top 20 who haven't suffered a loss.

Tyler (12-0) stays at the top of the national rankings. Laramie County is now No. 2, Monroe CC is No. 3, Phoenix No. 4 and Navarro No. 5.

Butler (11-4) is ranked No. 20 this week and Johnson County is receiving votes.

The Blue Dragons have a key Jayhawk West matchup coming up on Wednesday at the Salthawk Sports Complex when the Northwest Tech Mavericks come to Hutchinson for a 4 p.m. match.

Hutchinson has appeared in 14 consecutive regular-season rankings.
