HutchCC Sports Information

The Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team didn't move in the latest NJCAA Division I Rankings released on Tuesday, but did become the highest-ranked Jayhawk Conference team in the rankings.

The 10-0 Blue Dragons remain No. 16 for a second-straight week. Hutchinson defeated Hesston College 4-0 in its only action last week after the Cloud County game in Concordia was postponed on Wednesday to October 23.

Butler (8-4), the only other team in the rankings, fell 11 spots to No. 18 after last week's 2-0 loss to Johnson County.

Tyler (11-0) remains the No. 1 team in the rankings. The Apaches are followed by Monroe Community college, Phoenix, Daytona State and Navarro.

The Blue Dragons are one of 10 unbeaten, untied teams in the rankings and one of 12 teams without a loss.

Hutchinson has two matches this week, on Wednesday at Barton and on Friday at the Salthawk Sports Complex against Pratt at 4 p.m.

The next rankings will be next Tuesday, October 11.
