MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Heavy rain on Tuesday morning washed out the final round of the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational.

With the tournament trimmed to 36 holes, that means the Hutchinson Community College men's golf team finishes in a tie for 11th place with Rogers State.

The fourth-ranked Blue Dragons got off to a rough start on Monday, shooting 300 in the opening round. The Dragons trimmed 10 strokes off that mark in the afternoon round and shot 590 for 36 holes.

Sophomore Peyton Austin finished as Hutchinson's low golfer at 2-over 146 to tie for 29th place. Freshman Trey McCrae tied for 39th at 4-over 148. Sophomores Charlie Crockett and Nathan McCulloch tied for 45th at 149 and freshman Tyler Trudo tied for 56th at 150.

Freshman Nolan Sughroue, who played as an individual finished 107th at 171.

The Blue Dragons will play next at Newman Fall Classic at Crestview Golf Club in Wichita.
