Hutchinson Community College Campus

Founded in 1928, Hutchinson Community College and Area Vocational School serves more than 10,000 traditional and non-traditional students each year, many from the state of Kansas.

HCC is a comprehensive community college that more and more students turn to each year to reach their goals.

Walk across any of our campuses and you will find out right away that HCC is no ordinary community college.

Historic Lockman Hall is the centerpiece of the HCC Campus. But spectacular additions to  the Shears Technology Center, Rimmer Learning Resource Center and the newly completed Smith Science Building gives HCC the premiere facilities in the nation.

HCC offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees. Through AA and AS degrees, students completed their general studies and lower major courses at HCC before transferring to a four-year program or earning a certificate.

With more than 100 full-time and numerous part-time faculty members, classes are small enough for students to get to know their instructors.
