The Hutchinson Community College football team remained ranked No. 14 in the latest NJCAA poll released on Tuesday.

Playing a ranked opponent for the third-straight week, Hutchinson defeated No. 19 Garden City 63-49 on Saturday in a shootout that accumulated 112 points and more than 1,200 yards total offense between the two teams.

The Blue Dragons (2-1, 2-0 Jayhawk Conference) saw two teams leapfrog them in this week’s poll. Georgia Military (2-0) jumped from No. 18 to No. 11, while Nassau (2-0) went from No. 17 to No. 13.

The Blue Dragons started the season ranked No. 10. The latest ranking marks the 31st-consecutive poll and the 40th time in the last 42 polls that the Blue Dragons have appeared in.

Hutchinson plays host to Dodge City on Saturday in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Gowans Stadium.
